About emtechnik

The emtechnik group – considered with its 160 employees as one of the leading manufacturers worldwide of high-quality miniature fittings and connectors made of special plastics – pursues the goal of consistently developing products from the perspective of its customers. The company was founded in 1965 in Ludwigshafen, Germany, and is successfully directed today in the second generation from the Maxdorf location by Michael Meier.

Under his management the company has consistently moved forward with the development of precision fittings and high-performance connectors while establishing itself internationally. In line with this we have strengthened our investment in foreign markets.

With subsidiaries and commercial agencies in Europe, Asia and the USA, we consult with and support our customer directly on site.To guarantee the high standards of quality and safety, we produce about 3 million items a year exclusively in Maxdorf. emtechnik will also retain this German production site in the future.

The company moved from Ludwigshafen to Maxdorf in 1973. Since then, high-quality products have been manufactured in our continuously expanding production halls using the injection moulding process and mechanical production.

The clean room, built in 1997 in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14644-1 class 5, is being expanded in 2018 with the construction of the new production clean room in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14644-1 class 7. Specialising and deliberately restricting ourselves to niche markets has also been a guarantee of international business for years. Plastic fittings and connectors are manufactured in nominal diameters from 0.7 to 25 mm or DN 04-10 mm. The threads are also manufactured in accordance with DIN, USAS and JIS to allow for worldwide sales. Today about 80% of the products are shipped outside of Germany.
